Conci & Bisou
Bonjour, I’m sure you first heard of us by visiting our first location, Conci, located in charming little India, 1300 Gerrard St East. We opened Conci in 2019 to explore the endless possibilities of food and flavours. We provide the best French cuisine, share our love for living wines and, more than ever bring joy to our community through our wonderful outdoor events that take place throughout the year.
Last summer, due to the incredible demand, we opened a second location, which we have now officially renamed Bisou!
Bisou is nestled in the heart of Cabbagetown, 350 Berkeley St, and, during the day, offers all the same incredible bakery offerings and living wines as its sister location Conci.
Wondering where all of our delicious pastries are made? They’re made on-site fresh daily at Bisou – downstairs in The Lab!
Come visit us at one of our amazing locations!
The goal on our website is to give a good idea of our concept and what we do on a regular basis. On our site we listed all our classic products that we carry on a daily basis. The reason why you cannot order our special products is because we only make them over the weekends and the recipes change often (or sometimes we would not even make them and replace it by another innovative and new product). Nevertheless, it is always a very good option to contact us via email a little ahead of time and we will always be happy to accommodate something that works for you.
Meet the Team
“I grew up in the hospitality business. All my family members worked in restaurants, wine shop or hotels. I got inspired by many of them, following their path & evolutions though the years as a kid. My passion for wine came little by little; my grand parents used to own a wine shop in Ardèche where I would spend most of my summers. They were the ones who really inspired me to learn more about this amazing world, full of surprises and that always evolves.
Good food has also always been a part of my education thanks to my parents; eating local, consuming respectfully & seasonally was very important. Myself, I have always valued this way of life and I feel we are trying to reflect this in the food we offer. I really have found my half in Charles who shares the same values.“
- Manon
“Originally, I was going to work in corporate. Always attracted by social relationship, I studied business in my hometown, Lyon. After a year, I felt that I needed something else in my life. I needed to work with my hands and create. I finished my business studies, obtained my diploma, and then followed a different path in the culinary world. Studied in one of the most prestigious chef schools in France. After 2 years, I had the opportunity to work and study in South Korea, where I got to experience a lot of different type of cooking. I was then able to put all my new skills towards catering and event planning. After 3 years working in event, Manon hired me to open a restaurant that unfortunately never saw the light. Marc her father, taught me how to be a baker. An essential skill to have as a chef to be perfect or reach perfection in each dishes I offered. In 2018 Manon and I opened together our first shop in little India, Toronto.“
